This show incorporated many textures to create the grungy, 1950s recording studio. The wood flooring was achieved with a base tan, two colors of wood graining, a warm brown glaze, and a semi-gloss seal to finish. The sidewalk was achieved with a few shades of grey scumbled as a base layer, topped with a highlight and lowlight sponged for texture. The brick walls were laid out with a rectangular sponge for a base pink color, detailed with a highlight and shadow color for dimension. A red wash was applied sporadically for differentiation in the color of the bricks.
